Children with Prime Minister, a unique interaction program jointly organized by Martyr Dharmabhakta Study Foundation (|M|D|S| Foundation) and SDD Nepal, was held on 9 September 2006 (24 Bhadra 2063). The event was first of its kind in that never before has there been a. program that gave an opportunity to children for sharing their ideas and views with a Prime Minister.
|
The program was envisioned to provide a respite to Honorable Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala from his workload while the children would have an opportunity to indulge in direct interaction with the premier about what the government was doing to create a better Nepal for the new generation.
A novel initiative as it was, Children with Prime Minister was a huge success both amongst participating children and members of the public and thus attracted encouraging amount of coverage by mainstream media. |
